I keep trying to get my partner to read my book, and each time they do it in a silly voice. I piss myself with laughter to hear it, but sometimes I think it'd be good to get some serious feedback.
I posted on one of the Amazon forums earlier; a "shamelessly plug your book here" thread. An excellent opportunity to blather on about my novel. Then one grumpy old sod went and clicked the "this doesn't add to the discussion" button on my post. The cheek!!
